RMG Scholars 2024

At the company’s enterprise in Kazreti, RMG announced the winners of the 2024 Scholarship Program.

Joni Shubitidze, RMG’s Executive Director and Anzor Abshilava, the Dean of the Mining-Geological Faculty at Georgian Technical University granted certificates to 25 selected students. 

More than 100 students from GTU’s Mining-Geology, Chemical Technologies and Metallurgy, Energetics, Mechanical Engineering, Informatics and Management Systems faculties have participated in RMG’s Scholarship Program. The candidates applied from sophomore, junior and senior years of the Bachelor studies, as well as from the studies of Master and Doctorate degrees. Based on the interviews with the applicants, RMG’s management team selected 25 students who will receive a one-year scholarship from the company.

RMG started the Scholarship Program for the Georgian Technical University students in 2018 and the project aims at finding and supporting motivated and dedicated students from engineering field.

After the awarding ceremony students were taken on an industrial tour, visited the historical quarry of Madneuli, got acquainted with the enterprise and check out the excavation process. 

End of the day students were hosted at the Georgian-German Wine House, which stands as the company’s corporate social responsibility project, aiming at strengthening and supporting small entrepreneurs from Bolnisi. Students were guided around the historical house, learned about company’s recent CSR activities and tasted Bolnisi wines.
