With the initiative and financial support of RMG, and in partnership with the Bolnisi Municipality, the Kazreti House of Culture will undergo a complete rehabilitation.
The rehabilitation work includes a complete renovation of the exterior and interior of the two-story building, covering a total area of 1,100 square meters, as well as paving the yard and landscaping works.
According to the preliminary project, the rehabilitation work will take one year, and the project’s cost is 2 million GEL.
As part of the project, the concert hall of the House of Culture, accomodating 300 guests, will be renovated, and its stage will be completely replaced, and equipped with sound, and other necessary modern equipment. The building will also be equipped with new heating, cooling, and fire safety systems.
As part of the project, a 70-square-meter rehearsal hall for dance ensembles will be added, attached with dressing rooms and restrooms.
Currently, the Kazreti House of Culture hosts 6 art circles and studio-ensembles, serving 180 teenagers. Since 2009, the Kazreti District Library has also been housed here, which is visited by more than 500 readers annually.
In recent years, due to the dilapidated condition of the House of Culture, the art circles and ensembles based there continued their activities in other buildings. As part of its corporate social responsibility program, RMG supports and funds these circles annually. Starting in 2027, all studios and ensembles will be housed in the renovated House of Culture, where young people will be able to participate in various cultural and educational activities in a well-equipped space.
