RMG at the Corporate Social Responsibility Forum

On March 9, 2026, the annual business forum “Corporate Social Responsibility 2026” was held, organized by the media company The FINANCIAL.

The event brought together representatives of the diplomatic corps, as well as leaders from the heavy industry, energy, and healthcare sectors, who shared their experience and best practices in the field of corporate social responsibility.

Zurab Devdariani, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at RMG, presented the company’s long-term CSR strategy and key priorities to the forum participants:

“In today’s business environment, the question is no longer whether we choose CSR or not. Rather, it is the conscious responsibility of businesses to operate in a way that considers the best interests of the environment, society, and future generations. Forums like this create valuable opportunities for the representatives of different industries to exchange important experiences, which ultimately contribute to the sustainable development of every sector.”

Among the speakers at the forum was Massimiliano D’Antuono, who emphasized the growing importance of corporate social responsibility in modern business. In his remarks, the ambassador also highlighted the opportunities that can be achieved when the private sector and government institutions work together to implement sustainable development principles.

During the discussion, speakers addressed a range of topics, including the implementation of ESG standards, the role of business in environmental protection and social development, and the challenges and opportunities Georgian companies will address on the way towards alignment with international standards.

The goal of the CSR Forum is to promote a strong culture of corporate social responsibility in Georgia and support the business sector in showcasing its achievements in social and environmental responsibility. The forum also aims to reinforce the message that modern business plays a crucial role in the country’s sustainable development.
