He spoke about the institute\u2019s century-long history and highlighted its continued invaluable contribution to the advancement of science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cAleksandre Janelidze and his colleagues not only laid the foundation for the development of geological sciences in Georgia, but also created a strong scientific school whose legacy continues to inspire future generations. I am pleased that today the traditions of this school are being continued and advanced by the highly qualified team of the Institute of Geology. This gives us, as representatives of the private sector, additional motivation to continue close cooperation with the Institute, both in scientific research and within the framework of other collaborative projects,\u201d said Joni Shubitidze, General Director of RMG.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>With the support of TSU, as part of the centennial celebration of the Institute of Geology, a scientific conference titled \u201cAchievements and Challenges in Geology\u201d was also held.
