The winner of the contest was revealed at the event and all participants were handed memorable gifts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDidgoreli\u201d is a history contest for pupils, started in the Kvemo Kartli region back in 2019 and until now, has been conducted in 10 different regions of Georgia. The project is designed for high-school students and aims at strengthening knowledge of Georgian History among youth. The autumn season of \u201cDidgoreli\u201d was held in the Marneuli region and involved more than 100 participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><\/p>\n<cite>\u201eWe have been supporting \u201cDidgoreli\u201d since its initial days and we are happy that during this 5-year journey the engagement of students is regularly progressing. As a general sponsor of the project, it is important for us to show our appreciation to all applicants and encourage young people for their proactivity. For this reason, our company will grant the \u201cDidgoreli\u201d winner a 6-month scholarship and will keep an eye on Mariam\u2019s Development\u201d \u2013 stated Zurab Devdariani, RMG\u2019s CSR Manager.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is multi-componential and includes the contest preparations, as well as educational extra class events, such as visits to the museums and libraries, attending lectures, organizing student conferences, creating mini-movies on historical themes, etc. Since the start of the project, \u201cDidgoreli\u201d has gradually scaled up and involved around 2000 young people from 244 schools of Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><\/p>\n<cite>\u201eWe greatly appreciate RMG\u2019s engagement in our project, their support as a general sponsor plays a significant role in this educational initiative. From our side, we continue to improve our project and keep walking towards the goal to acquire more interested students to get to know more about history, as a school subject and as a social science also.\u201d \u2013 Levan Zhvania, \u201cDidgoreli\u201d Project Author.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The winner of the \u201cDidgoreli\u201d 2023 for autumn season became the student of Marneuli #5 Public School, Mariam Muradasilova. Mariam has been granted a 6-month scholarship from the company<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Within the company\u2019s corporate responsibility, RMG follows the UN Sustainable Development Goals and prioritizes several of them, including the goal of quality education accessibility.
