RMG Celebrated Miner’s Day 2023 

Rich Metals Group continues its tradition and celebrates Miner’s Day with its employees. On the 5th anniversary of establishing Miner’s Day as a corporate holiday, the company commemorated the event with an extensive celebration and hosted its guests and employees in Tbilisi State Concert Hall.

“It’s the fifth year that we celebrate the Miner’s Day and this is already an established tradition within the company. This year is not an exception and today, on this beautiful day, we awarded 7 Miners.

I want to separately mention that this day is even greater, as we were granted the EU Membership Candidate Status and this is a huge happiness for all our employees and all citizens of Georgia.” – Joni Shubitidze, Executive Director of RMG. 

The event opened with the awarding ceremony. This year, 7 employees were granted the Miner of the Year award. Honorable awards were handed by RMG’s Management and the invited guests.

After announcing the Miners of the Year, guests had the pleasure to listen to the “Masterpieces of Cinema Music” by Maestro Nikoloz Rachveli, Georgian National Philharmonic Orchestra, and invited soloists.  

Mountaineers of 2023 became:

  1. Mikheil Chokhonelidze – Chief Geologist of the Caucasus Mining Group
  2. Marine Sanikidze: Mineralogy Group Manager
  3. Anzor Kiparoidze – Excavator Operator
  4. Nana Sabiashvili: Dispatch Department Manager
  5. Givi Avkopashvili – Mining Truck Driver
  6. Ilia Kurdadze – Material Planning and Monitoring Specialist
  7. Zhambyl Tazhigulov: Mine Fastener of RMG Auramine

RMG celebrates the Miner’s Day since 2019 and the professional holiday unites company’s 4000 employees.
