Georgian-German Wine House in Bolnisi hosted the “Didgoreli” project award ceremony. The winner of the contest was revealed at the event and all participants were handed memorable gifts.
“Didgoreli” is a history contest for pupils, started in the Kvemo Kartli region back in 2019 and until now, has been conducted in 10 different regions of Georgia. The project is designed for high-school students and aims at strengthening knowledge of Georgian History among youth. The autumn season of “Didgoreli” was held in the Marneuli region and involved more than 100 participants.
„We have been supporting “Didgoreli” since its initial days and we are happy that during this 5-year journey the engagement of students is regularly progressing. As a general sponsor of the project, it is important for us to show our appreciation to all applicants and encourage young people for their proactivity. For this reason, our company will grant the “Didgoreli” winner a 6-month scholarship and will keep an eye on Mariam’s Development” – stated Zurab Devdariani, RMG’s CSR Manager.
The project is multi-componential and includes the contest preparations, as well as educational extra class events, such as visits to the museums and libraries, attending lectures, organizing student conferences, creating mini-movies on historical themes, etc. Since the start of the project, “Didgoreli” has gradually scaled up and involved around 2000 young people from 244 schools of Georgia.

The winner of the “Didgoreli” 2023 for autumn season became the student of Marneuli #5 Public School, Mariam Muradasilova. Mariam has been granted a 6-month scholarship from the company
