“Employment Forum – 2022” was held at Technical University of Georgia. Along with about 60 Georgian companies, RMG , the leader of the mining sector, offered various professional and internship programs to the students and graduates of STU.
“RMG and the Technical University of Georgia have been cooperating for many years. This partnership has especially strengthened in the last 4-5 years. We work very actively with both the university and the students, offering them various employment and internship programs every year. We think that this cooperation has already produced very good results. At the forum, we were represented by several popular student projects, and we also offered internships in the fields of mining, geology, enrichment to the students who came to the site. Giorgi Chkheidze, RMG’s deputy executive director for personnel management, said.
RMG provides students with a number of student projects focused on professional development within the educational program. Among them are the one-year RMG scholarship for technical students, the ” RMG Summer School ” project, which provides for a one-month paid internship in the company’s enterprises, and the dual educational project “Individual Development Plan”, which for the mining students involved in the project, tailored to their competencies and interests, It involves offering an individual plan of teaching and practice.
60 Georgian companies with different profiles were represented at the “Employment Forum” of STU. Students and graduates had the opportunity to personally interview the representatives of the organizations, consult and choose the vacancies they wanted.
