RMG made a presentation about the company’s environmental program at the Green Business Forum 2021

The Biltmore Hotel hosted the Green Business Forum 2021 organized by media holding The FINANCIAL, at which companies, representatives of the governmental and non-governmental sectors spoke about the prospects for the development of the green economy.

Green Business Forum is a presentation event, the purpose of which is to present the environmental projects implemented by companies and their results, to discuss the perspectives of Georgia in the direction of green economy development and to promote the competitiveness of Georgian businesses in the international market.

At the event, the Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili, Imamura Akira, the Ambassador of Japan to Georgia and representatives of various private and public sectors spoke about the importance of green economy.

RMG is the general sponsor of the 5th Green Business Forum. The company’s deputy director for environmental issues, Sandro Devidze, presented to the public all the important events that the company carries out in the environmental direction.

We introduced our environmental projects to the community present here. At the moment, we have scheduled about 100 events and 98% of them have already been completed. 30 million GEL has been spent for all this. This process continues continuously, we have serious projects in the direction of infrastructural, water protection, soil protection, atmospheric air protection, which, as studies show, already have positive results. These works will continue continuously and we intend, on the one hand, to have a minimal impact on the environment, on the other hand, to use resources efficiently and, most importantly, to ensure the processing of minerals rationally and with minimal losses..” – Deputy director of RMG for environmental issues, Sandro Devidze.
