Executive Director of RMG , Tornike Lipartia, participated in the 7th international scientific-practical conference organized by the Mineralogical Society of Georgia, Technical University of Georgia and Grigol Tsulukidze Mining Institute.

Due to the current epidemiological situation in the country, the conference “Development of mining and geology is a prerequisite for the revival of the economy” is being held remotely for the second year. Nevertheless, the number of speakers and listeners participating in it is increasing every year.

On October 28-29, within the framework of the two-day conference, 28 speakers will present their reports. Among the discussed topics, special attention will be paid to: the current problems of mining and geology, the role of mineral resources in the sustainable development of the country’s economy, the challenges in terms of environmental protection and ecology, the introduction of new studies and data prepared on various deposits to the scientific community, and others.

Conference participants and other interested persons will also have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with 14 stand reports prepared within the framework of the conference, which will be published in the form of a presentation on the website of the Georgian Mineralogical Society http://www.msgeorgia2012.com/ .

Since 2018, RMG has been the general sponsor of the international scientific-practical conference. In his welcome speech at the opening of the conference, Tornike Lipartia emphasized the importance of the long-term cooperation between the company and the university and wished success to all participants.

“I am glad that as a supporter of the conference, our company also makes a small contribution to the development of mining and geology. It is important that over the years the conference has become a tradition and developed into a powerful platform where the innovations in the field are shared every year. I think that the center of modern mining and geological technologies opened by Aremji last week at the Technical University of Georgia is the place that will arouse even more interest and motivation for students, and in the future we will get to know many interesting reports presented by them at the conference. – said Tornike Lipartia, Executive Director of RMG.
